Eve of Destruction 2 is intending on releasing a fresh version with their mod for Battlefield Vietnam this Wednesday, including two new maps, co-op, better AI plus more.
We have finished the effort on EoD-BF:V v0.16!
All maps get COOP now, improved AI, better lighting and many more improvements. Also every map was checked for bugs to prevent these damned crashes to desktop. Its probably the most stable EoD-BF:V build ever!
Two maps are new with this build: Camp Caroll and Que Son Valley wich are already imported from EoD-BF1942.
It was possible to build this latest version because of the aid of some enthusiastic fans.
The websites BF:V section was updated with new screenshots.
Downloads will likely be available on Sept. 15th, 2010.

We want to thank everyone for your wonderful support we've got enjoyed through the years. Our recent announcement that individuals were overall production on PoE2 brought plenty of old friends around to mention hello and voice their support. A big due to everyone which was involved in this particular massive production. We hope you still enjoy it for just a long time.
During our final months of production on PoE1, we didnt know when DICE would announce the production date for BF2 and essentially close the doors on our Battlefield Vietnam production. We were very conscious that Battlefield 2 would zap our playerbase and eclipse our work. This led us to slice some details that any of us didnt have enough to wrap up. We hate leaving loose ends try to felt like we didnt finish this chapter in our mod for the point where we may have liked.
It therefor offers us great pleasure to announce the ultimate installment of our own Battlefield Vietnam modification, Point of Existence PoE1.
