Happy using the product. Ive been a Calendar Creator user since 1990. This version is just as easy to utilize as the earlier versions and accepted my database. I can find no better program for any printed calendar. Calendar Creator can it all. I especially just like the feature that counts anniversaries and birthdays after you enter the original date on the event, so my calendar tells me, its babys 5th birthday. Then the calendar is usually printed in every format desired.

Having had and used previous versions of Calendar Creator, I was glad to view a latest version. I bought this from office Max then when I attached with my XP computer, it corrupted a number of files on my own Calendar Creator 12.0 version. I was hoping this new version can have updated event lists to ensure moon phases and holidays could be updated to improve dates. Installation went just great, even so the program won't open. Instead, i recieve a notification of the problem together with the configuration file. I uninstalled and installed again. Same problem. Then I uninstalled again and tried to open up my current Calender Creator 12.0 version and it also was now corrupted. But, thankfully it called for my install disc to recoup a missing file. I used my 12.0 disc to extract my old program. I then called the customer care number and after due to being on hold for upwards of 20 minutes I hung up and accessed their internet site. I sent an inquiry listing the issue that I encountered and waited a few days for response. None received. I sent another inquiry yet still nothing. I purchased the product on Nov 2 also to this day, Nov 24, I have not had the courtesy of an response using this company and seeing other comments about the bad response experienced with this company, I can state that you could be foolish to purchase this device and expect almost any support, It is just not available.

Im sorry I purchased this item. I had used a classic version of Calendar Creator that didn't transfer to my new computer so assumed a whole new version will be as useful because the old one. I have found so that it is totally frustrating to make use of. As a church we've several functions around the same day like Sundays and Wednesdays and if you input several items this course automatically lowers the font size to the point of being unreadible. There is a lot of white space around anyone items, but there's no way to make use of it. So if you acquire more than two items for anyone day youre in a hopeless situation. This software is useless if you ask me.

This software has gotten some in the worst customer reviews Ive seen for software. Despite this, I purchased the product or service as Ive owned previous versions and needed a version that work well with Windows 7-64 bit. First, I only use this device for simple calendars and I attached to a very clean new laptop. It appears that a lot of people having issues are attempting to upgrade at a previous version. I experienced no issues installing on both a 32-bit as well as a 64-bit version of Windows 7. PROs: The application works as I expected. It produces nice calendars and I find its features a lot better than Microsoft. CONS: The current version simply updates previous versions with minimal feature improvements. It is obvious that NO investments are made by Broderbund/Encore to further improve or fix issues with this system. Broderbund/Encore are simply just living off early code and expect to do so as long because they can. An example is the fact their help file references tutorials which are removed from ver 12.1 instead of updated - they didnt even bother to update their help files to get rid of their references to tutorials - cheap and sloppy work! Simple navigational methods like scrolling that has a wheel mouse are absent. Each time you open a saved file, you'll want to resize the calendar as the save function will not be robust enough to keep in mind what settings you put by. IN SUMMARY: Calendar Creator once was an excellent product. However, the corporation has gone into hibernation and is NOT keeping the product or service fresh. If youre looking for any full featured product with as much as date functionality - this system is NOT for you personally. If, however, you might have very simple expectations and also a clean system no previous versions, in all probability you'll be happy.

Unfortunately I thought this is going to involve some improvements from your version 12 I had already. It is the exact software really the only difference is that they have made it works with Vista and windows 7. It was a complete waste of money to me. They should list it is version 12 made appropriate for Vista and Windows 7. I have been using Calendar Creator for approximately 10 years now, this version would be a disappointment.

Our business has used multiple versions of Calendar Creator since 1995 and been very happy with them, but this program is usually a disaster. We purchased it from a place of work supply store in May 2010 and still have had only problems. In particular, this program crashes whenever I attempt to make use of the program while viewing case list. I contacted Broderbund the last software developer and after six or seven weeks of sending emails forward and backward, uninstalling and reinstalling this course multiple times, updating drivers, etc., etc., they finally threw up their hands and said they no solution for that problem. When Encore took over this system, I contacted them triple asking for help and not received the courtesy of any response. DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION!!!
