Things kept being deleted without my knowledge. I would start my laptop and would experience a message and approximately 2 weeks ago my photos were gone. Many of my files were gone and I finally had to clear out AVG and restore my laptop for an earlier date. After uninstalling AVG my photos suddenly reappeared.
I am seeking a program that will not do circumstances to my computer that I don't ask it to accomplish. I prefer one it doesn't make my computer slow as molasses and take away important files that I need like family photos. I am sad that AVG has arrived to this. I wouldn't normally recommend it now.:
Great protection. As a user for pretty much 20 years, I never really had the herpes virus issue when using the AVG Free. Straight forward, simple to use, just loose time waiting for update to do or it's going to slow down the PC.
2015 Free just isn't compatibly with Windows 8.1 and will not mention that anywhere.

1 Slowed down my computer.
3 I couldnt download many programs I needed.
4 I couldnt use Windows Media Player. I had it checked for Auto-play and it also wouldnt work. I couldnt even find the DVDs to learn by while using the right click to learn because it ended up removed. There also was no option to experience at the top in the video window, it ended up being removed.
5 I tried to delete some programs I didnt need anymore and I couldnt do that because doing so said I needed administrator privileges. I engaged administrator on the show up box, it accepted the click on but a box sprouted and said try again. I manifested itself that and it also still didnt work.
I couldnt even leave a comment if it asked me when I installed it. Even that didnt work. Yes, Im a skilled computer user.
Will I ever make use of the antivirus program again. NO WAY!!!!
When the trial is expired, the annoying pop-ups start. It is getting almost as bad as Norton, which I hate.
