Pro will never work right, Grimefighter Option Ripoff
OK firstly had major problems finding the install to function, even using copy/past that belongs to them registration key and it also rejected it. Had to have it manually installed by their tech. At least, which was true for that price quoted during my renewal e-mail. My renewal price was 5 above the price becoming quoted on CNET. What a wonderful means for Avast to reward its customers!

After updating my virus definitions and renewing my subscription the sales rep connected me for the tech department for my 120 tuneup.
After he associated with my computer remotely I watched because the Tech cleaned my computer. This entire process took just a little over sixty minutes. I watched several files were deleted and lots of registry values were changed. After completing the task I had an onscreen message through the technician they were finished and my computer was now ok to utilize. I closed the windows and shut my computer down. When I attempted to turn my computer back on I couldnt understand it to reboot. I can hear hard drive running but it really will not load windows and my monitor remains blank.
I called tech service back and reported my problem. The technician had me disconnect the electricity cord, wait 60 seconds or so and then reconnect it and try again. I got exactly the same result. The technician then explained it should be a hardware problem there was nothing he could do.
I come with an HP PC that I also have for about nine years. I have never had any problems whatsoever by using it not starting right up or rebooting. My computer is running perfectly plus the only reason I called them were to update my virus subscription. I know a hardware problem could occur with any computer, but also in this case I am convinced which the technician deleted some file or changed some registry value that's keeping my computer from rebooting. What are definitely the odds any time nine years the pc would just eventually not reboot for that first time ever right after an extensive tuneup by Avast.

After their meat-grinder assault, all on the customized Lenovo functions ended up lobotomized. I was sick and heartbroken, and my laptop was never exactly the same. The Geek Squad at Best Buy never messed up my system the way in which Avast did.
