Teil zwei war ja noch ganz ok und zum Ende hin wurde es sogar nochmal spannend, weshalb ich berhaupt angefangen blood fever zu lesen. Jedoch hab ich hier nach der H lfte aufgegeben. Ich war so genervt von der Hauptakteuren dass ich das fr hzeitig beendet habe. Es wird immer wieder gesagt wie intelligent sie doch sei und trotzdem benimmt sie sich oftmals dumm und ohne jegliche berlegung ob das was sie tut auch sinnvoll ist.

First Impressions: The Watcher series is certainly one of my favorites and it also always surprises me the amount I like each with the books because I hate reading about vampires. This series is so completely different from other vampire novels though and I think for this reason I enjoy it a whole lot. Not only are these books fun to learn, but I like how each from the books employ a crossover appeal. Teens and adults will each find something person to love and gush about after looking at each book, which I imagine is awesome. Ive stated it in my writeup on Vampires Kiss, the 2nd book within the series, these books are my guilty reading pleasure and I get ready that statement. The books are almost goofy, but a lot fun to study. And I love the covers!
First 50 Pages: This is by far and away, not your typical vampire story! Not only does this series provide an original plot line, however in Blood Fever, this author really took heat up a notch. And when I say the temperature, I mean the romance! It has borderline sexy-times which are appropriate enough for older teens, but adult enough for, well, adults! Not only that, but Blood Fever has a lot action and a lot going on from it that it felt like I just flew all the way through the whole book. This is among those book series where each novel just keeps getting better and.
Characters Plot: Blood Fever will be the third book in The Watcher series of course, if you havent yet read the initial couple of books, this review may spoil you, so you have fair warning! In Blood Fever, mcdougal once again been able to take a fairly easy to follow plot line and change it into something wonderful and captivating. Drew our main female protagonist, features a somewhat strange new roommate, her romance with Carden is seriously becoming spicy and yummy, but things arent all rosy and wonderful. People are starting to suspect that Drew or Carden are accountable for murders which are happening across the island and Drew has to determine who is behind all from the attacks before something bad transpires with herself or somebody who she loves.
Drew is considered one of my all-time favorite protagonists as well as in this third book, she just grows to become even more kick-butt and awesome. The battle scenes in Blood Fever are extremely amazing and they'll have you flipping all pages very quickly to determine what happens! The action along with Drew can be so great in this particular book. She will play the survival from the fittest card within this book, that is A-okay with me at night. I love strong and dependable female characters! As a warning, this book is violent! If that bothers you, you really should stay away from this blog. There is some sexual stuff too which could turn some individuals off. You definitely have to use a high maturity level you just read these books.
Oh, and I guess I should talk a bit about the romance. In the past two books, Drew has brought her pick of suitors, but Carden really shines in this particular new book. Not only is romance not full with the dreaded insta-love, Drew has her hormones in balance. Not that she doesnt want Carden, but she wants for being sure that everything with him checks out before rushing into anything. I LOVED how the article author spun their romance.
Final Thoughts: There wasnt whatever I didnt love about Blood Fever. Ill be anxiously awaiting the 4th novel within the series and I understand it is going to drive me crazy until I learn what will happen next for Drew and Carden and also the rest with the characters. Id highly suggest this series for everyone who is maybe hates the stereotypical vampire books, but wouldnt mind reading about vampire/human relations, or anyone who loves strong female characters!

In Veronica Wolff s third installment of The Watchers, Blood Fever pops up with a darker theme. While I was starting to think that I may be too old with the series I am inside my 30s, Wolff brings a far more adult vibe through the entire story. There is without a doubt more danger about the corner for the Isle of Night. And luckily to me, I was able to study about it without delay.
Blood Fever begins at the outset of a new semester. Fall brings new Acari recruits and trainees. For the rest, Watcher training has intensified, bringing more guts and glory with the determined. Drew has survived another year, with some surprising allies. One ally is Camden. A bond has solidified their connection, but that connection goes past what was formed. Mei-Ling includes a secret as well as a talent. That secret was what causes it of her abduction from the vampires. Drew is involved, it doesn't matter if she should you aren't. And when the death counts start rising, will she be in a position to prove the main cause? Or can it bring danger to her, in excess of it already has?
I loved Drew in Blood Fever. I think she became much more personable versus the last three books. Maybe on account of her bond with Camden, or maybe her friendship with Mei-Ling. Whatever reason, she shows much emotion for the inside and out. It was entertaining to read along with the accompanying dialogue was fun, as you would expect. Her relationships get serious, whether or not it is inside a positive or negative light. There s a lot more about the line and I appreciated just how Drew handled each and every scenario. The all-around character progression was believable and realistic. Each character, if it s Drew or possibly a supporting character, a purpose and also a reason, each of them playing an important part into your storyline. There was a whole lot more on the characters these times. There was an intensity and ferocity that I loved. Maybe it absolutely was because the theme of Blood Fever is darker and also the stakes are higher. Whatever the reason, I loved it.
Wolff is able to slowly transcend each story into its plateau. The quantity of chaos included within Blood Fever was the correct amount. The pacing was on par using the events, but not once did I notice the lull of the scene, or lack thereof. Wolff pushes the boundaries, testing her readers with increased of this and much more of that. There was a spot where I didn t think I could take one more thing, but Wolff visited and brought it. And being a reader, I can say so it made the tale much more enjoyable to study.
I highly urge you to study Blood Fever, or The Watchers series. So much fun.

They could help make your life serious hell.
I d lost Amanda, and keeping Mei-Ling safe felt like righting that wrong. Besides, I liked odd ducks, and Mei was shaping up to become pretty massively odd.

Ive been following these books since first one, Isle of Night, became available. Ive had mixed feelings about these considering that the beginning. I want to like them, and it is the reason why I keep buying them. That said, Blood Fever 3rd book will be the best one yet. Drew has put her big girl panties on and gained some maturity. What I liked about Blood Fever quite simply didnt know who had previously been the bad guy. I suspected at the very least two people who proved being wrong. Next, I loved Carden - the Scottish vampire. There arent enough good stuff I could say about him. I enjoyed the call between him and Drew, and was happy she found people to crush on and confide in. There are cute little moments they share that forced me to be smile. Blood Fever has action, humor and several awesome fight scenes. Im looking forward for the next books inside the series.
I only possess a couple complaints. First off, the ever-present question that seems for being avoided in Every. Single. Book. and thats, Why the heck is of this taking? What will be the purpose? Why do big strong vampires need human girls to observe their backs? If you ask me it will require away their scariness lacking any answer. Why can just men become vampires? These are questions stirred all the best way back to book 1, and a couple of books later, theyre still avoided.
Next, this also isnt so bad, but Drew incorporates a new roommate, Mei. She describes her as being a kid, which forced me to be laugh because Drew herself is simply 17, and Mei is 15. Is 24 months difference enough to appear down at somebody else as nothing in excess of an immature kid, when Drew herself just became more mature within this book? It may be silly nonetheless it annoyed me.
And finally, whenever we learn who the unhealthy guy is, its very brief. Its official, The Watchers is my new favorite YA vampire series. Not since Richelle Meads Vampire Academy series have vampires and human interaction been so dangerous therefore addictive. The training at Isle of Night hasn't been more deadly as its not merely the teachers and fellow students that Drew should worry about. Someone something like that is slaughtering people all around the island, and Drews secret and accidental bond with Carden has grown harder and harder to ignore. They are both suspected from the murders and when their bond is discovered, they wont live good enough to prove their innocence.
BLOOD FEVER, the next book in Veronica Wolffs The Watchers series will be the best installment yet. Drew is shedding the final remnants of her weak, victimized former life. She has fully embraced her training to 1 day turn into a lethal vampire Watcher-if she lives that long-and now contains the skills to get some unwanted attention in the vampires and also other students.
