This book covers all with the things you operate into for an introductory user that frustrate the hell away from you - linking building models to site models, phasing, railings and stairs, wall types, floor I could embark on, but Id wind up just re-writing the ebook.
The only thing that book doesnt look at, and that I havent really seen a fantastic guide on tips on how to document, is how you can properly model and document existing conditions using parts and phasing, and I dont really think it has even gotten to the point where that may be intuitive yet.
To summarize - BUY THIS BOOK. It is like 500 pages long and can solve the majority your problems.
