Ive been using Adobe products for a while, especially Photoshop and Lightroom, and believe those to be the most effective available. But since Adobes recent go on to their Creative Cloud requiring continuous monthly obligations to access almost all of their products I wonder how much time Lightroom will continue a stand-alone program.
For the fee, Lightroom cant be beat for photo enhancing as well as organizing and sharing, too. And If followed by Nik, onOne, and other plugins Lightroom becomes a lot better. Im a novice to Lightroom and yes it takes a little acclamating yourself with when originating from Photoshop. Its an irritating learning period as lightroom does things just a little differently but began to find it an important tool for editing. I also love so it never changes an original file which I hated in the beginning and you export the altered images and original is not changed. Great product!

I have Photoshop CS5, ACDsee Pro and Corel Painshop X5 and Lightroom 5 in now my option for editing and organizing my photos. Plugins integrate far better, the Develop module is extremely sophisticated but intuitive and simple to use and Collections are simple to establish. Couldnt ask for the better product!!!!!

Havent experienced a chance make use of it for every photo need yet. But to date so good. This was my progress up from Elements. For the price appears to be more what I want and may save me profit the long run since you've to re-purchase Elements yearly for a high price they dont provide an Elements upgrade after first purchase. But w/Lightroom, which didnt cost excessive more than Elements, I can now pick the upgrades once they come out less expensive re-buying Elements. And why should that matter? After a latest version of Elements arrives they will no longer support the old version. Makes a difference if you pick a new model of camera later on or enter using your software to get more options and requirements.

Forget photoshop or any other software to edit your photos. All you'll need is whole process almost, it has programs. Its simple to use of course, if you need tutorials youtube it. The one thing is you'll need a new pc since it requires a lot to work with it right without the need of lagging.

The applications are outstanding, particularly the enhanced healing brush. Its just it isn't as intuitive as you would hope Export and Import as opposed to Open and Save things such as that. I desire a lot more training, but until now its powerful and totally definitely worth the money.

Ive been using Adobe products for a while, especially Photoshop and Lightroom, and believe these to be the very best available. I recently got a new Canon Powershot SX50 HS camera, and from now on have the cabability to shoot images in RAW mode. I could used the RAW processing software that included the camera, but I wanted something more powerful, so I chosen Lightroom after looking at many reviews.
First off, I really just like the library system that Lightroom uses, as it makes it simple for me to quickly move through my photos and take away the ones that Im not very pleased with. I have Photoshop CS5, ACDsee Pro and Corel Painshop X5 and Lightroom 5 in now my selection for editing and organizing my photos. Plugins integrate significantly better, the Develop module is incredibly sophisticated but intuitive and an easy task to use and Collections are simple to establish. Couldnt ask for just a better product!!!!!

Havent were built with a chance to work with it for every photo need yet. But to date so good. This was my progress from Elements. For the price appears to be more what I want and definately will save me take advantage the long run since you might have to re-purchase Elements each and every year for top dollar they dont present an Elements upgrade after first purchase. But w/Lightroom, which didnt cost excessive more than Elements, I can now pick the upgrades if they come out less expensive re-buying Elements. And how does that matter? After a new edition of Elements equates they will no longer support the old version. Makes a difference if you opt for a new model of camera as time goes on or go into using your software for further options and requires.
