I really disliked Elements 12, so ever since then things have been a vast improvement, in case you have 13, you almost certainly dont need this. Unlike some reviewers, I didnt have much difficulty loading both Elements and Premiere. I have had Adobe products so very long, it quickly pointed out my current email address, I guess from scanning my computer for past installations of Adobe products. I have never used Premiere, so I cant say anything with that yet, but I wish to use the Content Aware component of Elements - - which iPhoto does not have, and thats where I do the bulk of my hard core fast editing, crop, lighten, crop, lighten. Content Aware usually takes a bird outside the sky, or maybe a telephone pole from the back of an photo. I even been with them remove me completely from browsing front of any statue, in a single click and yes it just fills within the blank with all the colors that have been around me, therefore it looks like nothing was ever there. But I really recommend receiving a Peachpit or Dummies guide. Photoshop might be very frustrating sometimes - - the Guided Menu was no help by any means - - and I finish up having to watch tutorial videos or have a very book on my own lap for making the software do what I would like it to do. And should you dont do fancy things, you will find free programs like Gimp or Acorn, that the basics. Full Photoshop you cant even buy anymore. Old copies are opting for nearly one thousand, as well as the new CS version can be a monthly subscription. I was most thinking about being capable to crop, rotate, change light and contrast, etc, make images larger or smaller, and that i can on this program. Be careful with this junk, downloaded this like a trial, just purchased a new PC fourteen days before Acer, OS 7, RAM 6 Gbts, 3.2 Intel duel-corestarted by using this junk, firstly tried to increase a pic coming from a restaurant taken with my Xperia Arc S mobile, not great at nighttime, tried everything. no improvement using FastStone Image Viewer, similar in results and free and my CPU starts spiking along with the Elements window starts flashing, strange, then experimented with uninstall it couldnt realize its in Programs and Features, not there, really strange, thought it was in Ace Utilities yet it said the programs didnt exist, so uninstalled file by file, couldnt uninstall last 3 files, uninstalled safely mode dont like doing that, stay clear of this garbage!!!!

Photoshop Elements 8, 9 and 10 all suffer through the same major flaw. You can barely read the little fonts to see the printing and icons resistant to the black on grey background. This is especially true if you could have a higher resolution monitor which many people do now. I was so disappointed when I purchased this device because I expected much more from Adobe. They are suppose to become the gold standard of photo editing. I was shocked when I opened this software and could barely make use of it. I have decent vision but I need to strain to study the UI printing. There is no method to adjust the font size or background color in almost any of these versions. Adobe forums are filled with complaints concerning this issue and I recommend NOT buying this supplement until it really is rectified.
Dont waste your hard earned money until Adobe provides a strategy to adjust UI fonts and background color.

That was what I thought, used the trail version. I liked 9, eventhough it did not fit everything in well and was not by any means easy to understand some instructions a wide range of internet looking for better tutorials. Im not an expert, dont cause me to feel work so hard to master it, right? The features I used, simple cropping, adding text plus some corrections used clone a whole lot, 9 was easier and easier to see the instruments! For the price, Ill wait and discover if the next improved version is a marked improvement.
