Instead, I am gonna focus on what matters in my experience most - using Lightroom to edit professional images for clients.
Im an expert wedding and portrait photographer and Ive been using Lightroom ever since the release of Lightroom 2. It has ever since then become the bedrock of my editing routine, covering about 98% of my tastes. The remaining 2% is usually advanced touchup work and is also handled by Photoshop CS5. I photograph about 30 weddings and 30-40 portrait sessions per year. I average about 1800 RAW photos per wedding leading to 450 per portrait session. This puts my total workload around 60, 000 photos each year and every single one of these are handled by Lightroom.
So after using Lightroom 4 a tad, I am getting acclimated to its new image editing features and am very excited about the newest tools. However my main grind at this point is it is significantly slower as opposed to version 3 it replaces.

One in the main concerns I had when I ordered the downloadable version vs the physical software, was that I would only manage to download this product onto one computer, something wouldnt work overall, I had NO issues. Once downloaded, I went onto my husbands computer and signed into my amazon account. I downloaded the identical way on his computer that I did mine.

Well, I purchased LR 4 and was impressed with each of the features it offers. But wait a few minutes, why Spot Removal so painfully slow? I have a reasonably good mobile workstation 8-core CPU, 16GB RAM, dedicated nVidia video card, etc., however the performance of Spot Removal and a few other Develop module features is simply terribly slow. This is reported widely on Adobe Community. Before Adobe addresses this challenge, I only have 2 stars.
Update on 11/7/2012: after upgraded to version 4.2, I feel it is a lot better. Although the performance of Develop module remains to be not for the level that I would like it being, I am all happy along with it. So 4 stars now.

It is a number of years since I are already so impressed using a software product. After being a DSLR user I quickly discovered the benefits of RAW post processing. I used the digital camera makers free software ViewNX to get a while determined it efficient but unstable and slow. I bought PS Elements and discovered it for being horrendously inefficient and clumsy to work with. The workflow was terrible and I was confused until I discovered Lightroom. I enjoy Photoshop Lightroom.
