Very often expansion packs are mere repackaging of games with few novel features - less than with Zero Hour. This expansion pack is stuffed with worthwhile latest features.
Each faction presenting several different specialized generals, primarily for multi-player use, and that is what the expansion pack seems intended for anyway. The basic version of the faction is available. Each general has certain positives and negatives over the other generals in the same faction. There is like a China Tank General, that have tanks as his advantage, but dont think youre likely to win because of that - other capabilities have already been taken away. Its all quite carefully balanced, even though the online multiplayer statistics reveal that most GLA generals are at a slight advantage. Im sure this will likely be corrected in a very future patch though.

I Just got done playing this with 3 other people in a LAN party, and I can safely claim that this expansion may be valued at the money in case you enjoy the C C multiplayer experience. The new campaigns are ok, but Zero Hour definetely seems to employ a much stronger focus within the multiplay aspect, which really is congratulations. It also offers a nifty solo-player matchup mode called challenge, where youre pitted against a certain general whos army has certain unique abilities.
The capacity to pick different generals is awesome; each general gets certain privledges in conjunction with special units. There are 3 generals per army that you may choose, and each takes a completely different strategy for success. While each general has use of certain unique weapons, additionally they in most cases have restrictions on some vehicles, such as arsenal they will choose from and exactly how much each vehicle costs.
