Im surprised that you have not more programs created for the creation of a comic strip. This program is really intended for kids, incorrect artist or comic but it is user friendly and has a couple of features which render it worthwhile for making use of to make comic books. This is, potentially, the worst software Ive ever used. Now, thats saying a great deal; my computer has probably over 1, 000 different programs into it, and a lot of software systems. My company creates ePUB and MOBI eBooks for authors, if youve bought books on Amazon, youve probably seen our work! so were quite tecchie, using anything from Adobes Creative Suite to myriad HTML and Text editors, and also SAS: software as service which we use for that customer service email, billing and production management systems. You could even call me a software junkie.
This, however, takes the wedding cake for sheer insufficient usability. First, theres ZERO instruction. The help files inform you how to do things, but not the best way to FIX things. For example, I still cannot figure out the way to do something as fundamental as paint a history COLOR over a panel-now, that is something that should basically be point-and-click. I got results once, and don't again. Sometimes, its as if the program gets stuck inside a loop, therefore you cant take action you could do 5 minutes earlier, like edit a dialogue bubble. I was so frustrated, I wrote to their customer support. And why did I do that?
Because I went on their so-called Knowledgebase FAQ and downloaded the PDFs which might be supposed to be the manuals. That would have already been great-but they arent even sophisticated enough to possess embedded the fonts inside the PDFs, so about 50 % of the CHARACTERS ARE MISSING. You cant browse the text. Literally-you cant browse the text. You cant even make an effort to parse it, determine what letters are missing, its so atrocious.

They lack a support forum, and after this I know why-I would suppose that they have HUNDREDS, or else THOUSANDS, of annoyed customers. I know that Amazon features a policy-once you open the program, there is no returning it-and its only 20.00. But whats aggravating is the fact that Ive now wasted HOURS seeking to do stuff that SHOULD be simple. I know lots about software; its my bailiwick, essentially. That the manuals are missing 1000s of letters, how they obviously do NOT have 24/7 customer care, which the HELP files are worthless-that a professional software power-user cant make use of it-this says all this.
I didnt buy Manga Studio because that cant be output as PDF. I guess Ill only make these in Publisher MS or Photoshop, but what I desired to do-simple, one-page PDFs by panels and many graphics, to send out some instructions to clients-shouldnt have caused close to this much brain-damage. This programs been common since at LEAST 2006, and this really is a total and handle waste of income. Unless they buck up and include some actual support: look somewhere ELSE.
