They are from newspapers and popular magazines. The research is undergraduate level at best. The book is 90% anti-communist screed and general ranting. He cannot appear to distinguish between socialism and communism, and sees no difference involving the former Soviet Union, Cuba and China. He offers no justification for virtually any of his raving. This isn't to say that his fundamental views on the current Chinese situation are wrong, and there's maybe 30 pages of useful information in this particular book, that could probably be summarized in 10. If I lose interest some night I will convey a brief summary for this review and you'll skip the publication, but it has been making me so crazy I decided to share without the free summary. If you have 25 and few hours to waste try, you may glean a couple of things.
