Happy while using product. Ive been a Calendar Creator user since 1990. This version is really as easy to make use of as the prior versions and accepted my database. Having had and used previous versions of Calendar Creator, I was glad to discover a new edition. I bought this from office Max when I attached to my XP computer, it corrupted several files on my own Calendar Creator 12.0 version. I was hoping this new version would've updated event lists making sure that moon phases and holidays can be updated to take care of dates. Installation went perfectly, though the program may not open. Instead, i recieve a notification of your problem using the configuration file. I uninstalled and installed again. Same problem. Then I uninstalled again and tried to open up my current Calender Creator 12.0 version plus it was now corrupted. But, thankfully it wanted my install disc to extract a missing file. I used my 12.0 disc to get better my old program. I then called the customer satisfaction number and after located on hold more than 20 minutes I hung up and accessed the website. I sent an inquiry listing the challenge that I encountered and waited a number of days for response. None received. I sent another inquiry but still nothing. I purchased the product on Nov 2 also to this day, Nov 24, I have not had the courtesy of your response because of this company and reading other comments with regards to the bad response experienced using this company, I can declare that you could well be foolish to purchase the product and expect any type of support, It just isn't available.

Im sorry I purchased this item. I had used a vintage version of Calendar Creator that would not transfer to my new computer so assumed a whole new version could well be as useful as being the old one. I have found so that it is totally frustrating to work with. As a church we've got several functions about the same day like Sundays and Wednesdays and if you input several items this software automatically lowers the font size to your point of being unreadible. There is an abundance of white space around the average person items, but there is however no way make use of it. So if you have an overabundance than two items for someone day youre doomed. This software is useless in my opinion.

Despite this, I purchased the item as Ive owned previous versions and needed a version that work well with Windows 7-64 bit. First, I only use this device for simple calendars and I set up on a very clean new laptop. It appears that many individuals having issues looking to upgrade from the previous version. I experienced no issues installing on both a 32-bit along with a 64-bit version of Windows 7. PROs: The application works as I expected. It produces nice calendars and I find its features much better than Microsoft. CONS: The current version simply updates previous versions with little if any feature improvements. It is obvious that NO investments are now being made by Broderbund/Encore to increase or fix issues with this supplement. Broderbund/Encore are merely living off earliest pens code and do so as long because they can. An example is their help file references tutorials which are removed from ver 12.1 as an alternative to updated - they didnt even bother to update their help files to get rid of their references about bat roosting tutorials - inexpensive and sloppy work! Simple navigational methods like scrolling having a wheel mouse are absent. Each time you open a saved file, you have to resize the calendar considering that the save function will not be robust enough to consider what settings you put by. IN SUMMARY: Calendar Creator had been an excellent product. However, the organization has gone into hibernation and it is NOT keeping the item fresh. If youre looking for just a full featured product with as many as date functionality - the product is NOT to suit your needs. If, however, you've very simple expectations along with a clean system no previous versions, you'll likely be happy.

Unfortunately I thought this became going to incorporate some improvements in the version 12 I had already. It is the exact software really the only difference is that they have made it suitable for Vista and windows 7. It was a complete waste of money for me personally. They should list it's version 12 made appropriate for Vista and Windows 7. I are already using Calendar Creator approximately 10 years now, this version would be a disappointment.

Our small enterprise has used multiple versions of Calendar Creator since 1995 and been very content with them, but this program is really a disaster. We purchased it from a place of work supply store in May 2010 and possess had outright problems. In particular, this program crashes each time I attempt to work with the program while viewing the presentation list. I contacted Broderbund the earlier software developer and after five to six weeks of sending emails forward and backward, uninstalling and reinstalling this software multiple times, updating drivers, etc., etc., they finally threw up their hands and said that they no solution for your problem. When Encore took over this system, I contacted them triple asking for help and do not received the courtesy of your response. DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION!!!
