After the first few months the mouse stopped tracking. I contacted Mad Catz and sent my mouse looking for repairs. When I have it back it worked for about per week and a half and also the exact same problem occurred again. I tried contacting Mad Catz again and would not get a response. I attempted cleaning and completely reinstalling all drivers and programs, but nothing works. I will never buy another product because of this company due towards the lack of quality within their products along with their terrible support services. Even after I contacted madcatz support and received instructions for solving the problem, the mouse retains tracking problems. Some days it truly does work, some days it doesnt. After about 5 months the laser loses accuracy also it begins to die. I have this mouse nonetheless its so temperamental I cant apply it. I would defiantly avoided the product.

After several years my 3 thought we would die to become fair, I didnt care for it at all also it still lasted that long
I chose to go with the 5 because I felt the three was one on the more comfortable mice for big hands, plus the 5 is exactly the same size and shape, just with an extra button plus a horizontal scrollwheel.
With the extra weight, along with the ability to customise that weight, it feels a great deal more premium versus the old one.
All the buttons are nice and clicky, in comfortable positions, and so they dont take an excessive amount force to activate, but they also dont activate while just using them.

Have been using this mouse for around 18 months now. I have no issues from it what so ever, this mouse is by far the most effective I have used.
