Happy using the product. Ive been a Calendar Creator user since 1990. This version is really as easy to work with as the last versions and accepted my database. I will get no better program to get a printed calendar. Calendar Creator can it all. I especially just like the feature that counts anniversaries and birthdays if you enter an original date on the event, so my calendar tells me, its babys 5th birthday. Then the calendar is usually printed in a format desired.

Having had and used previous versions of Calendar Creator, I was glad to view a new edition. I bought this from office Max when I attached with my XP computer, it corrupted a number of files in this little Calendar Creator 12.0 version. I was hoping that new version could have updated event lists in order that moon phases and holidays can be updated to alter dates. Installation went just great, nevertheless the program won't open. Instead, i buy a notification of the problem together with the configuration file. I uninstalled and installed again. Same problem. Then I uninstalled again and tried to open up my current Calender Creator 12.0 version plus it was now corrupted. But, thankfully it requested my install disc to get better a missing file. I used my 12.0 disc to get better my old program. I then called the customer support number and after due to being on hold more than 20 minutes I hung up and accessed their webpage. Im sorry I purchased this item. I had used a well used version of Calendar Creator that wouldn't transfer to my new computer so assumed a whole new version can be as useful as being the old one. I have found that it is totally frustrating make use of. As a church we've several functions on the same day like Sundays and Wednesdays and whenever you input several items this software automatically lowers the font size on the point of being unreadible. This software has brought some with the worst customer reviews Ive seen for software. First, I only use this device for simple calendars and I attached to a very clean new laptop. It appears that some people having issues are attempting to upgrade at a previous version. I experienced no issues installing on both a 32-bit plus a 64-bit version of Windows 7. PROs: The application works as I expected. It produces nice calendars and I find its features a lot better than Microsoft. CONS: The current version simply updates previous versions with minimal feature improvements. It is obvious that NO investments are made by Broderbund/Encore to enhance or fix issues using this product. Broderbund/Encore are merely living off early code and anticipate doing so as long as they possibly. An example is always that their help file references tutorials that have been removed from ver 12.1 instead of updated - they didnt even bother to update their help files to get rid of their references to those tutorials - cheap and sloppy work! Simple navigational methods like scrolling using a wheel mouse are absent. Each time you open a saved file, you must resize the calendar as the save function is just not robust enough to recollect what settings held on. IN SUMMARY: Calendar Creator was previously an excellent product. However, the corporation has gone into hibernation and it is NOT keeping the merchandise fresh. If youre looking for any full featured product with as many as date functionality - this supplement is NOT for you personally. If, however, you might have very simple expectations as well as a clean system no previous versions, you'll probably be happy.

Unfortunately I thought this became going to involve some improvements on the version 12 I had already. It is the identical software the only real difference is because they have made it works with Vista and windows 7. It was a total waste of money for me personally. They should list that it must be version 12 made works with Vista and Windows 7. I have been using Calendar Creator for approximately 10 years now, this version would have been a disappointment.

Our business has used multiple versions of Calendar Creator since 1995 and been very pleased with them, but this program is really a disaster. We purchased it from a business office supply store in May 2010 and still have had outright problems. In particular, this system crashes anytime I attempt to utilize the program while viewing the wedding list. I contacted Broderbund the first sort software developer and after six or seven weeks of sending emails backwards and forwards, uninstalling and reinstalling this software multiple times, updating drivers, etc., etc., they finally threw up their hands and said that they had no solution to the problem. When Encore took over this system, I contacted them thrice asking for help rather than received the courtesy of an response. DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION!!!

Encore continues Broderbunds reprehensible approach of providing no tech support whatsoever and improving the price significantly with each latest version while making no significant improvements if any in the old version.
I had CC 10 by using an XP computer. When I switched to Win 7, the existing program worked fine for upwards of a year then suddenly wouldnt load. The message indicated that it didnt work together with the operating system. The negative Win 764 reviews here led me to consider that I needed to give up on CC, up to its been perfect for 15 years. I searched for just a program to get new belongings, but, as others have said, there really isnt most things that does, including online calendars. When I got a 9.99 coupon from Encore for V. 12.1, I decided take a try. Havent had any on the problems people mention. It loaded all right, and handled my old calendars without having a hitch. Also havent seen any new problems just like the ones many people spoke of into their reviews.
I provide four stars given it really is often a good program for anyone of us who choose this kind of calendar. The negatives mentioned cost it one star.
Update: When I installed 12.1 on my own Win 7 64-bit computer and imported my old win xp calendar, everything was fine approximately a month. Then this software wouldnt open my calendar while showing an incomprehensible message I couldnt chose the meaning of. It looks as though one has to possess a completely Win 7-created calendar in order with the program to work with a Win 7 machine. Havent tested that yet though.

I purchased Calendar Creator in 1997 and am pleased with that calendar program and its particular versatility that I even purchased extra copies and also have used it for several years. In many ways that program was more advanced than any new calendar program I tried. When I purchased a different laptop with Windows 7 64 bit, my old program has not been compatible, so I purchased this, which verified claims. I have long trusted this brand. This version does import my old calendar files, but reformats everthing, assigning end times, filling the changing times with useless information and cutting off my information. It will not reformat font size, even though build to accomplish that, but reverts to its own font size, so I cannot see several of my information. And the declare that it is that will work with Outlook can be something of an exaggeration. If you might be just looking for the simple calendar program to control a few items, that one will probably get the job done, however, you can find a likewise good product quite less expensive this. For business use, I dont recommend this calendar.
