Since then I havent had the opportunity to restart, reset, nor reboot my blackberry. I later discovered this is white death for the blackberry. Ive been taking care of it all night and still cannot have it returned to running condition.

Just something for everyone. In your it's beneficial to upgrade my BB DM to v.4.7. My BB included v. 4.3.0.17 about the tools disk. I am so new for the BB which is my second post about the Crackberry forums so any input everyone have could be great
4.7 is made/better for phones including the 4.7 has produced many trouble for folks who use curves, a lot of them post on cb.

Tremortality - I have 4.6 and I was looking to download bb alerts which you told me about and I receive a message who's cant download and i also should upgrade to your new dm version. The files were sometimes a jad or perhaps a alx? and I cant encourage them to work, any suggestions? Actually they download but I can open or install together with the file extensions.

The dm4.7 could be your desktop manage version, that's your software with the computer.
The other is the operating system which is running on the unit.
You should never have to get more DM to set up BBALerts trial. I installed it on my small curve with all the same DM, no problems.

okay, well already updated the os within the actual bb device to v. 4.5.0.110. The version of Desktop Manager may be the v. 4.3.0.17. So I am assuming the Desktop software for the BB site will be the same as the Desktop Manager in my pc. There are several versions available around the BB website and I am curious if it is useful to upgrade my Desktop Manager/Software or better in order to leave it using what came about the BB Tools Disk that had my phone. Like I said there are numerous versions going right up to v. 4.7. LOL I hope this clears up any confusion.
I would upgrade, and go using the 4.6 without media manager. Thats the top as of at the moment.
What is wrong together with the media manager? Not that I dispute your just don't realize the bugs media manager is giving.
Media manager is roxio, when you use it, obtain it. Most dont, so that it takes less space to make it happen without.
