I just downloaded 4.6 and I sync my address book, calender. Everything wet fine the condition occurred when I downloaded the media sync. It doesn't recognize my pin. I had DM 4.5 which perceived to work fine when my 8820 was running OS 4.5. When I was required to backdown my OS to 4.4.4.193 since the current European versions of OS 4.5 dont support UMA phone calling, DM 4.5 did start to give me problems.
Now when I upgraded my DM to 4.6 Roxio wont even start and Media Sync recgonizes the 8820 but wont open the options boxes will choose what I like it to sync. When I first installed 4.6 Roxio wouldn't normally work. So I totally uninstalled all Blackberry software and reloaded it from DM 4.3 T-Mobile, then to 4.5 now 4.6. Roxio works fine but Media Sync is not going to recgonize my BB. I have a feeling that you've to be on OS 4.5 or more for Media Sync to be effective. Because the current versions of OS 4.5 for your 8820 are from Europe it doesn't support T-Mobiles HotSpotHome UMA for telephone calls. So when that you are using UMA for calls, and are also on many of the current European versions of OS 4.5 one of several side effects is your phone calls only will cut off plus the BB go dead. Not good! So I was required to back down to 4.2.2.193, that's where I think the thing is with Media Sync. The good news is that any devices, including Roxio, work fine on DM 4.6. so I must wait until T-Mobile comes out because of their official version of OS 4.5 for that 8820. Oh well!
