I had exactly the same thing yesterday evening, I restarted Origin and it also suddenly went along to check my BF2142 game files and after downloaded a 209mb patch, aimed to install but it really didnt do anything and yes it didnt say in Origin anymore how the game was installed and able to play.

Can anyone identify where the update files are just for this? I downloaded the game plus it says I need to update. Ive Downloaded a single.50 update from an EA site however it says that I use a newer version installed! I dont have it. There had been a place enabling you to download patches from in Origin. Is that gone now?

I bought farmville launch day and bought Northern Strike Expansion Pack back when Ea Origin was called EA Link. Sadly, mafia wars is barely alive. There are currently 7 exact servers alive on patch 1.51 current. The servers are populated with folks playing it. I wish EA would make mafia wars free like they did with BF 1942 on Origin. I would assist the 2142 become populated again.
This game is extremely good. This game is perfectly AMAZING! I personally thought that it was way in advance of its time. The only negative thing to say of it is always that there arent many servers left to experience on. But the experience itself is often a classic and Im certain that people continue to act, even when only on a couple of servers. I use a feeling it can go free some day like BF1942 did for any limited time and will boost the playerbase again.
REALLY fun game modes like Titan. The mechs are cool. The weapons are cool. Cant say it enough how great the experience is.

As for my review on the bingo, I have played over 500 hours about it. It is my favorite Battlefield of all of them. It brings back the previous style of playing which had been not just a few constant bombardment of achievements. It rewarded team play, and tactical play. The game is reasonably balanced. The giant maps cave in for vehicle warfare plus the smaller maps where excellent for infantry combat. Overall the game has been a wonderful experience for me personally, and hopefully it's going to be free so which the player base can grow again. If you are living within the United States one server still plays titan mode with 48 players. It still gets full with old and new players a like. So you wont be missing any action or fun should you were to buy farmville. 1.00 can be a very good price for the purpose you get.

I know this isnt BF4 related but, I just closed and re-opened Origin and discovered BF 2142 Deluxe Edition there able to download for FREE.
I downloaded and installed it nevertheless it wont let me sign in or create a fresh account, it says it cant contact the EA servers.
The place holder in Origin has pinkish corner while using word NEW inside.
