I had exactly the same problem when I first used my new batterey. It reduced the problem when I fully discharged the batt. the product turned off while I charged it the device showed 100% and I could run the app. Try this, whether it is not working I willi determine something else.

When I first got my Fujitsu T90D P5010-equivalent, I moved from using Sony 505 and Z505 models. The only thing I missed was PowerPanel, their semi-proprietary Phoenix-based power app. The single most valuable thing that program does is to evaluate battery usage and make up a true estimate of runtime. The second best thing should be to select power profiles, and control stuff like CPU speed and screen brightness.
The Fujitsu provided functions which, if you ask me, were a shade of the formerly essential support. The battery, while accurate, basically provided fixed runtime estimates, that were not adaptive in every meaningful way. The Hotkey utility dimmed the screen, but did no other in the way of power management. I missed PowerPanel!
So, being a hobby I decided to code up a substitute. Its not perfect but Im rather pleased with it, and Im using sharing it by causing it readily available for download as freeware.
