This series rules! I like that one the best cause it's got the most features and I love football. Also, it is possible to choose from pro players and in some cases make your own personal custom player! You can even reprogram your playbook and build new plays! The only problem happens because only have these functions in Backyard Football. This game really should have 10 stars!

Backyard Football can be a very cool game. You can play a true NFL team or possibly a made-up team. You get to try out with real NFL players and/or with made-up characters. You can design your plays or play with all the defaults. It is one on the best games I have ever played.

this is often a great game. i spent the entire night playing playing it, even so did not beat it. then when i got up the next day i totally game and beat it with my team, the silly rams. you are able to create your personal team and make up a draft.

I own other backyard games like backyard basketball, backyard soccer, and backyard baseball but this one will be the best!The cool things are you'll be able to make, and name your personal plays, you may name, and make your personal players also if your kids score a touchdown they are doing of them are very funny!Another good thing would be that the players have great skills, you are able to play with 2 people, and it is possible to play with pro things- no bad things!Anyone who likes baseball, basketball, soccer or almost any sport would really, really, really, like this a game I would recommend!

This was purchased to be a gift for my son. He and his awesome friends have spent several hours playing it. They enjoy to be able to pick his or her teams. The personal stories related because of the football players are incredibly funny and entertaining, especially Brett Favres. Having the football players as kids makes the game appropriate for kids spanning various ages.

The game wouldn't work on either Mac or PC. It had no scratches within the disc but didnt work or load.

As a longtime hardcore PC gamer, I surprisingly found the game to be a great deal of fun using a nice simple interface. There are a couple modes to try out from, starting that has a Skirmish where you'll be able to play an instant game, or possibly a season. There is also a multiplayer LAN-ONLY feature.
Starting using a season game, the interface first allows you to choose which on the 31 football teams will be from the season you are entitled to choose about 25 ones, and that you wish to experience as your own personal. The team names are on a the selections you'll get, but this is for your purposes on the in-game announcers.
Then comes you selections, which gives that you very wide selection. There are a lot of players to choose between, from African Americans, Asians, Latinos, and much more. There is also a player inside a wheelchair to select from! The political correctness of the game is deep, which is usually a good thing for youngsters. There are also a gaggle of kids determined by real NFL players, including Ricky Williams, Brett Favre, Drew Bledsoe, and Junior Seau. The only gripe I have could be the low volume of these NFL players, and also the fact that they just had current players and none with the recent greats like Dan Marino. This is really a small gripe that is certainly countered because of the ability to create your player. Backyard Football 2002 is usually a great game. Its as good as the original. I recommend farmville for ages 5-10. It has more NFL players and it has better graphics. Make sure to learn about Backyard Basketball.

I have always love the backyard series. Especially football these games are for all ages. At least thats what I think. The backyard series provided insperation to complete my own games. Even though I am still 11 years I wish to program games.
I think the reason is cool that you may pick players from real football to put with your team. All the backyard characters have there own personality and its particular really cool to speak to them. Another advantage about the series could be that the games can be extremely cheap. I think it may be valued at the money and you will probably play it for an extended time with out getting bord. But in the event you do buy it I would suggest putting it for the hardest level therefore it will take longer to conquer the game.

My 6 year-old son enjoys the action. What he enjoys might not be what you expect. The game allows kids to select pro teams and pro football players as kids. My son enjoys picking the teams just as much as he enjoys playing the experience. A neat feature is an capacity to mold a new player, picking build, sex, hair style/color and playing ability. This is especially fun for youngsters. Playing the sport is rather cumbersome, however. The computer does a lot on the work. You really only play one player. Plays are offered but do not make much sense to your young kid. A good game. Weve tried some on the others, backyard baseball and soccer not basketball yet. Baseball usually require essentially the most input yet it's slow. My son likes soccer the top. Have fun.

I use to learn the backyard games when I was obviously a kid, whilst still being I enjoy up til this present day.
This game is the thing that I was trying to find, similar gameplay to your 2001 edition, but nonetheless compatible with Windows 8. I adore it and would recommend it to anyone.
