Very good detection rates. Can set and end up forgetting. Very low effect on resources, isn't going to impact on browsing speed.

I agree it's rather a little confusing by Avira while using the word Suite, however, your problem is with all the shop for mis-representing the things they sold you.
Which is worse - the Antivirus or even the Customer Service?
As far as I know, they haven't yet physically assaulted any one their customers.
Avira Antivirus Premium 2013 continuously does not complete scans. Four months of emails to Avira customer care, together with following all their instructions, failed to remedy the issue. In addition to failing to solve the challenge, for reasons uknown they randomly answer me with emails in French, a language I do not speak, and claim that I should contact in France to resolve the situation. Needless to say, Im not intending to make an international phone call in the USA to communicate with someone in a very language I do not understand.
They also have suggested not once, but twice that I create a remote session so they can analyze my computer. When I followed through because of their directions, they declined to participate inside the sessions that they can suggested. They have no idea what they have to are doing!
