Ive been using AVG don and doff for a decade having gone after a Mac, less so during the last three. I think the program is full of issues. It has caused me many problems with all the computer, too numerous and involved to here. When I experimented with remove it it wouldnt permit me to. Gave me all forms of error messages and blocked access. After trying other activities many times I lost the fight and wanted help. I was sent to download a removal tool from AVG but it really has to be run in safe mode for it to truly work. And even you will need to remove some things file by file while planning and beyond safe mode.

1 Slowed down my computer.
3 I couldnt download a few more programs I needed.
4 I couldnt use Windows Media Player. I had it checked for Auto-play and yes it wouldnt work. I couldnt even have the DVDs to experiment with by with all the right click to experience because it ended up removed. There also was no option to learn at the top of film window, it have been removed.
5 I tried to delete some programs I didnt need anymore and I couldnt do that because doing so said I needed administrator privileges. I visited administrator for the pop up box, it accepted the click on however a box sprouted and said try again. I engaged that plus it still didnt work.
I couldnt even leave a comment if it asked me when I installed it. Even that didnt work. Yes, Im a seasoned computer user.
