STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! My AVG auto updated on the new 2016 version. It completely took over my computer and blew away all my Web browsers with the exception of Firefox. Google Chrome will not likely even start. Internet Explorer won't start either, but a minimum of shows a vital error message. So I went along to Control Panel to uninstall AVG. When I click Uninstall, it literally says Oops, something went wrong. Contact our friendly support. So I select the Contact Customer Support button, and lastly nothing happens. This thing attacked my file sharing and totally screwed it, no warning, just broke it! It ran perfect for 2 years, but this latest update is awful! It appears ads telling me that my computer needs their other product, interrupts my work, and screws up my settings without permission. Now, I cant even uninstall it without major steps! This thing is often a real ! If I were with show up ads, why would I need the herpes virus program? I think THIS IS A VIRUS!!!! Good luck eliminating it!

It doesnt install in Windows 7. I downloaded the off the shelf one device version, however it says it will be the windows ZEN version, also it doesnt install. This is usually a major bug. Dont they certainly any testing at AVG? Or maybe they assumed everyone now could be using Windows 10?
I hope that AVG fixes this major bug because I would like to set up AVG within my new computer. If AVG is evolving their software they must test it on all os. I purchased this supplement and after downloading learned that it just isn't 2014 AVG version. Spent hours looking for a solution but it really didnt work. It is definitely an old 2013 version and it also is really dissapointing.

I have used AVG products for several years now. Never had a worry with them. They do not obstruct programs much like the big 2 around. I Have never had the herpes virus or any difficulty while using AVG products.

I bought whole process almost hoping it will make my PC work faster than that it was with Symantec, as advertised. Not only is my PC even slower, however I get annoying pop-ups to trade other software by AVG.

If I could AVG zero stars being a rating, I definately would. Nearly one full year ago, I purchased their Internet Security 2013, partially because Consumer Reports gave it a good rating and partially because I wanted to utilise a new Internet burglar alarm system.
Despite the simple fact they, Guarantee your satisfaction or your hard earned dollars back, those aren't more than words in some recoverable format to these folks. The AVG product I purchased was defective and wouldn't run in this little computer, so I called their customer support line to inquire about a full refund of 50. After long wait times and nurmerous reassurances from their customer care supervisors that I would be handed a check inside the, its 2014 nevertheless I have not seen a penny.

I got this considering that the Geek Squad at Best Buy said hello is the best! I just installed this on my small computer cost 12 and because it was finishing a final page suggested I upgrade for firewall protection which I thought was included when I bought for an additional 46 dollars!! I now see on Amazon that AVG has Internet Security and PC Tune up for 35.00, which INCLUDES virus protection!!!! This makes me believe I cannot trust the corporation, given that they want me to cover a total of 58 dollars for any 35 dollar product! And that extra 46 wouldn't include PC Tune Up!.

I manipulate free trail versions of Nod32 2014, Norton 2014, Kaspersky 2014, BitDefender 2014, etc. AVG 2014 is better than every one of them. AVG free Edition is superior to Avast free Edition. Dont use MS Security Essentials or Windows Defender since they are the worse. AVG isn't going to slow down my PC. It features a clean and simple to use GUI. It is efficient at catching malware.
