I am the first gen gamer, 44 years, played games since Pong. I am also economic crisis gen Dungeons And Dragons gamer. I bought AC3 because I am a History buff and also have not played any on the AC line and needed to give it a try. The game blows. Period. If you fail, then perform repeatedly, and again. I gave the game several hours on 3 different nights until I finally realized, WTF, I could be playing Skyrim or Borderlands 2 rather then banging my head against wall using this type of title. The graphics ARE amazing, and also the story is fairly neat too, so I give that 2 stars. But the gameplay is, well, unplayable. The controls are incredibly completely counter-intuitive that it's beyond aggrivating. Why would ANY developer force gamers to totally change the way controllers been employed on just about any title with the last few dozen years? In short, if youve never played an AC title, then just vanish. Walk away and dont look back, and dont feel below par about it. Bioshock Infinite is merely around the corner! AC 3 is often a great game. Connor can be a likeable character although he could be no Ezio ; but seeing Revolutionary America is totally amazing. Ubisoft did a terrific job in mafia wars. As a huge Assassins Creed fan, I just wish they'd be a little more clear together with the Present Day, and Truth aspects.
