Ive started reading Arthurs books to my sons plus they love the colorful pictures inside book. The storyline is cute nothing spectular or exciting. Arthur invites everyone to his birthday celebration only to find out among his friends, Muffy, has her house party the same day. Arthur thought we would surprise Muffy by hosting the party at his house and all of ends well.
Its a sweet story though I am not quite sure about Spin the Bottle gift with the end. That could possibly be a little too old for 8 year olds. But its not offensive or anything its just an adorable story about childrens parties.
