Opinion: Confusing interface. Irritating trial version with limited character profiles. Inadequate samples and help files. Vendors own help file recommends using other software for lip synching.
Opinion: Inadequate lip synching. Inadequate help and tutorials. Inadequate character profiles for testing the trial version. My experience: An irritating total waste of time. Cant see much difference between versions. Interface is crowded and non-intuitive. Timeline is extremely scrunched down and never easy to see. Not enough character parts to learn with in trial version.
It has some OK features on creating animation.
I chose the interface to be very poorly designed.
I downloaded 5.6 because I was trying to find a shot version of 6.0 The only place I found the trial was for the Smith Micro website. However, theres a catch. The ONLY way to download the 30-day trial is usually to give them your plastic card information. If you are doing not cancel ahead of the 30 days they may charge your debit card.
I have not in my life been aware of a software company which has a 30-day limited trial that will need a plastic card. To be honest that appears like a scam if you ask me. Of each of the years Ive been online over 12 I never had to supply my banking information to download and make use of a trial program.

I expected this becoming a fun animation device, instead I spent hours developing failed animations that looked terrible after I downloaded these phones Youtube. each of the charachters must be either facing front or facing sideways. its extremely hard to turn figures sideways yet still use the bones. and overlapping images never work right. the layers never worked that they were expected to work, sometimes they did, sometimes they didnt. very you cant simply draw pictures like stick figures because program uses shapes can transform the shapes numerous ways as you can but you still have make use of shapes to make charachters, you cant just draw lines unless they have become thick lines. the motor car fill for filling spaces with color is incredibly can only fill spaces with color then alter the variations, like soft edge or gradient but only to one image per frame, as I said, its very restricted. the best way to draw a line is because of their pencil or shaper tools and there is NO eraser offered. you need to delete any line you didnt want. almost every other simple programs in this way at least give a choice from your pencil or brush along with an ERASER. additionally you cant insert extra frames within the timeline to give a sequence in the event the timeline is packed with keyframes and then for any image you alter after frame 1 will end up distorted there after. this I found extremely frustrating. if you would like to change an integral part of a charachter in to the movie you should go back and fasten every single frame then the movie is messed up and arm and leg movements are twisted and morphed. so its faster to merely start across. then to fix it.

This is a good all purpose program using a lot of familiar flash-like qualities for instance object, vectors, and frame-by-frame editing. The bones really help generate a more fluid animation, but careful editing is essential at times.
Not for starters. If youve used 3d programs and flash then you will have understand it quicker. It has a high learning curve. If you are new at all to Animation then I indicates getting an instruction book on Anime Studio prior to trying it.

Ashitaka is captivating exactly what a strength, just what a heart, exactly what a soul!; San the Princess Mononoke herself is intriguing; and Lady Eboshi is ambiguous - is she the villain? I dont think so. After all, who is able to blame her? Dont allow the over search for themes in connection with ecology discourage you. Go ahead and watch Mononoke. Its a completely new means of treating the conflict between men and nature, and that is far from its ending. Definitely, a jewel on the list of predictable animations of Disney and Pixars also predictable jokes. There are not any jokes here. TAKE A LOOK AT IT!
