We play this in the home network, the youngsters on their PCs against me on my small evil monarch machine since they dubbed it.

Then I graduated to AOE II.
Then I found AOM. I played that your ton in senior high school. Lost the experience.
We started playing AOE III while attending school. It was OK.
Then we discovered AOM again. AOM, out of all of the Microsoft Strategy games would be the BEST ONE YOU CAN BUY!
I dont think that one gets boring. Playing multilayer is awesome. The Titans Expansion can be worth it.

Strategy games are my absolute favorite, but I am also quite picky on the subject of these kinds of games. Often I either love them or I hate them.
I love ancient warfare, I love fantasy, and the game combines them both marvelously. A great game!
One word of caution, don't end up being the expansion of course, if you do dont activate it. The addition in the Titans ruins the total amount of this great game.

When this was already released back in 1997 that it was a great game, I found it a great deal more entertaining than AOE3 which required all of the weekend to have through every one of the scenarios such as the two expansion packs, yes it had been well done but a lttle bit same old same exact. The Ai doesnt always respect the walls. Sometimes units walk right throughout the wall. Usually merely a unit or two but on this last game it acted almost like the wall just wasnt there. This really messes up the sport play.:
If they may just fix this bug it may be a perfect game.
I became hoping until this up date would fix the problem on the system freeze.

Yes, AoM was crash prone on my small dual G5 2.0/9600, but this update has fixed the challenge. A great game, and I hope the development pack gets ported towards the Mac.
