hello! ive got a problem with aoe2hd and aoe3 which i bought on steam within a bundle for 25euros. once i click on aoe2hd icon the launcher starts up then after i hit Play nothing happens and that i dont know what to try and do. when i aim to play aoe3 i recieve a black screen having a couple of clicking sounds a couple of seconds then nothing happens after which i have to ctrlaltdelete to get out from the game. i used to be asking on steam with this problem no one has answered me well, i found this forum and that i hope someone incorporates a solution. assist me please?

The best I can recommend should be to try reinstalling the games, look into the games cache files via Steam, and try setting the games executables to Run As Administrator Right-click, head to Properties, tick the Run As Administrator checkbox, click, Apply, then OK.

i did obtain the aoe2 gold edition also it works fine without any problem. next, i installed the aoe3 game which i obtained i get the identical result as aoe3 from Steam. we did everything just like you wrote. i dont know what exactly is the problem, anyway good answer.
