What a great game! Its story blends pirates, soldiers, villagers, pioneers, natives, legends, history, etc. and it is gameplay is actually revolutionary. I believe the AoE series has become progressively better, topping itself only at that third installment. The graphics are gorgeous, the gameplay is incredibly addictive, the voice acting and score both are wonderful, along with the story is extremely good.

This game is awsome! Very well done. Anyone who has literally previous day of empires should gain in popularity very fast. Even if you havnt played before it wont take long to have the practice of it. I employ a 2ghz intel mac and have absolutely no problems. Graphics are fantastic as well since the gameplay.

Age of Empires III can be an enjoyable hybrid from your classic city building game as well as a historical strategy game from the Civilization genre. I am very thinking about colonial and Eighteenth Century warfare so I experience the era along with the animations of musket loading pioneers and soldiers. I purchased the game after a tome fail with Civilization. I must say I got precisely what I was expecting. The game plays smoothly on my small macbook pro and War Chiefs it helps to make the game a whole lot better. A lot of these games sell expansion packs separate so similar to the prevues review states get the original AOE III first. This add-on is very fun. This isnt the whole game simply a add on. The 3 new civilizations arnt very fun in my experience but the revolutionary option to revolt from a mother country is absolutely fun. Gatling guns and unlimited forts, very worth the cost.
