I purchased this collection for 7 during amazons Winter holiday sale and and I should say that with the price I paid it's worth revisiting the AOE franchise. I need to say though that I am greater than surprised that this price has raised to 40 with the PC download. 40 for just a game that's over a decade old??? I really haven't any idea what are the retailers are planning by marking up Age of Empires 3 to a real price despite the presence of the additional DLCs. Other than that the sport itself is really fantastic and runs well on Windows 8, any semi-modern xbox should be in a position to run it at what passed for high settings in 2005, it can be run on steam. AOE 3 in my view helped to pave the way for modern RTS 3D strategy war game.
