Initially I felt very aggravated from LR, as I struggled to understand in which the photos were stored. that unlike iPhoto which I used previously, the main photo isn't actually inside LR programme When the penny finally dropped I started a long process of relocating photos from iPhoto with a new home in this little hard drive, like my experience iPhoto won't seem for being compatible with LR. I was grumbling about having to obtain it by any means, since I had LR3, but Adobe didn't update it enough to add in RAW codecs for my new Sony camera. No, only LR5 would get it done. Except my os wouldnt run And the remaining is wide scale cumulative updates and software purchases.

However, I had unhealthy experience of downloading the trial, completed it, the de-haze function is amazing. But once I purchased the standalone version, the dehaze function disappeared! Apparently it's not available inside the standalone version. So to me it almost, almost felt being a bait and switch. A very unpleasant feeling and I lost trust in Adobe.
Sure, they are going to argue that you got the standalone version, you cant keep having upgrades think software way back when. I hasn't been given the chance to find out. Lightroom was downloaded from Amazon being a stand alone purchase. My Adobe account shows and may recognize this purchase using the serial number. However Adobe creates a singular purchase extremely difficult to register like a stand alone purchase. I called tech support phone, no they cannot handle such problems. Contact tech support - high is no cell phone number. I sent a communication, wonderful!!!!! The guy were not sure what my problem was, set it up the run around, complained with this and very politely emailed back about my cause of contacting Adobe. I had found his solution already on-line site therefore we were back towards the beginning. Finally found some instructions that sounded hopeful. Printed out 6 pages of instructions so I can get a handle with this complication. Still no solution. So now I am done I have requested 100 % refund. Adobe, this is not any way to help remedy customers.!!!

Upgraded and bought my first legit copy of ADOBE because Lightroom is finally around a cost that I can afford and Im ready to pay. I dont such as cloud idea by any means and needing to have internet for this to work.
With with that being said I love all of the new features received from Lightroom 4 however it is having serious lag a serious amounts of Im not certain that its the software or that face that I pulled my library over from LR4 to LR6. It could but that I am also working on all of my photos from the 4TB Hard Drive with USB 3. I never had these problems with LR4 plus the lagging when I am seeking to adjust photos or scroll through my Filmstrip is actually slowing down my work flow.

Cannot install on case-sensitive volumes. Im a developer and my stuff needs to become case-sensitive. Furthermore, it is going to not install over a machine containing ANY case-sensitive volumes upon it even if you could have a case-insensitive volume likewise. This was verified by Adobe. Ridiculous.
