I received Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 as being a Christmas present the one which I unfortunately had demanded. Its OK. The sliders within the develop module are certainly much faster and I applaud Adobe for your. Those are very important and one in the few logic behind why people use lightroom. But via lightroom 3, I feel like performance generally speaking should be as good as this at this stage. I dont think they invest hardly anything in figuring out tips on how to efficiently utilize multiple cores on modern computers. So far Im really impressed with LR6; the GPU enhancement alone causes it to be worth the upgrade in my experience. I do all of my heavy lifting pixel-level editing in Photoshop, so me are centered more about performance and efficiency than latest features. I primary use LR as being a database management tool and basic developer, but still I d the upgrade is definitely worth the cost. For those that do most or all in their editing in LR, this upgrade is big.
Adobe will continue to blur the cloths line between LR and PS by building more localized adjustments filter brushes in LR using this release. It s very good news for those that don t want to make use of PS. I admit it ll even help quicken my workflow for uncomplicated vacation or family pics when I m not planning to spend a whole lot of time editing. Just bought PS elements and Premiere after waiting and waiting for that new edition.
4 hours download time. I have slow connection.
Long installation process. Big program, yeah!

I downloaded Elements 12 in the App Store today and am totally stymied - both in the best way to get simple operations to figure, and in addition where to have help. the Adobe website forums are down for maintenance and I don t understand how long that could be for so I am hitting a brick wall. I am hoping that if you may t answer my question you are able to let me know where to search for help. The App Store version doesn t add some Organizer. I figured out the best way to bring a photo over to Elements from iPhoto, by changing the editor default in iPhoto, but sometimes t figure out tips on how to save it directly into my iPhoto program, that's serving since the organizer. I am starting to wonder if I should return this version and replace it having a version that features the organizer - but I m afraid the corporation that I are inventing for my pics in iPhoto could be lost. Hi I am really struggling while using adobe 12 can t get it to function I have been trying more than a week now it worked around the trial but once I tried to incorporate the full version couldn t get it to figure I have removed all and redownloaded it 3 x to no avail I have been for the support site twice morming and evening for being told contact between 9 and 5 aimed to ring after 9 got placed in a very queue after pushing buttons for more than 5 mins. Ihave used premiere 3 for several years with no problems and because I have had to switch my computer, I am getting each one of these problems need support which enable it to t understand!!!!
