Photoshop Elements 8, 9 and 10 all suffer through the same major flaw. You can barely read the little fonts and pay attention to the printing and icons from the black on grey background. This is especially true when you have a larger resolution monitor which most of us do now. I was so disappointed when I purchased this device because I expected a lot more from Adobe. They are suppose to get the gold standard of photo editing. I was shocked when I opened this course and could barely make use of it. I have decent vision but I must strain you just read the UI printing. There is no approach to adjust the font size or background color in a of these versions. Adobe forums are brimming with complaints with this issue and I recommend NOT buying this system until it can be rectified.

That was what I thought, used the trail version. I liked 9, even though it did not you must do everything well and was not in any way easy to know some instructions plenty of internet seeking better tutorials. Im not an expert, dont cause me to work so hard to know it, right? The features I used, simple cropping, adding text and a few corrections used clone a whole lot, 9 was easier and easier to discover the tools! For the price, Ill wait and discover if the next improved version is definitely an improvement.

I really disliked Elements 12, so ever since then things have been a marked improvement, but should you have 13, maybe you dont need this. Unlike some reviewers, I didnt have much difficulty loading both Elements and Premiere. I have had Adobe products such a long time, it quickly described my email, I guess from scanning my computer for past installations of Adobe products. I have never used Premiere, so I cant say anything about this yet, but I like to makes use of the Content Aware facet of Elements - - which iPhoto do not have, and thats where I do the bulk of my hard core fast editing, crop, lighten, crop, lighten. Content Aware usually takes a bird out on the sky, or perhaps a telephone pole out with the back of any photo. Certainly, I expect it can't do everything that a full version of Photoshop can, but Elements has all of the options I need and wish for editing photos for my organization. I was most serious about being capable to crop, rotate, change light and contrast, etc, make images larger or smaller, and that i can with the offer. I love the program. I am never ever an expert at photo editing, really only a beginner. Most stuff I do I need to look up online for hints. But once you will get going in Photoshop its quite simple. The controls are responsive. I wanted to slice an image away from one picture and blend it with another picture. There were many easy selections for changing how your photos looked. I think it is very easy to edited out of the little things that didnt are decorated so. Like blending out a i'm all over this someones shirt in the family photo. Photoshop solved the problem easily allow it to be look like the location was never there. I was capable to scan pictures and apply the salt and pepper filter to lose those little marks that appears after you scan a print. Overall, thrilled. I also this photoshop is much easier to utilize than corels photo editing software.

The previous reviews scared me a lttle bit but don't worry about it. I employ a pretty crappy computer and was competent to download the 64 bit quickly and easily. Also the activation code is located within your downloads on Amazon right within the photo So the no activation code can be a myth. I like this system.

EXCELLENT upgrade, just waiting with the manuals to be released to help me utilize this program better. The haze feature is excellent. Its inspired me for getting back into digital scrapbooking. I love that Adobe lets us try products first. I tried Photoshop and Lightroom, but I don't possess the experience to understand the programs. Photoshop elements helps it be so much simpler to understand and you'll find many training videos for their website. Amazon offered a rebate and I grabbed it!

I bought this being a pc download plus it says it can automatically choose whether 32 or 64 bit, yet this will be the error code I am getting. ERROR: This installer doesn't support installation on the 64-Bit Windows main system. Please download the 64-Bit version of Photoshop Elements.
ERROR: System check returned with error: 6 Cannot look for a place to contact and write the owner. I would much rather have cd version if downloaded version doesnt work, or I need money, because at this stage I didnt get what I taken care of. I am scratching my head, and intensely disappointed. Please help!

I love Photoshop Elements 14. Upgrades from my previous purchase are appreciated. Price would be a nice discount, but had I waited 1 week could have purchased in Costco for 39.95. But, still the price that I paid Amazon was still being a bargain. Cant win all of them.

The program Im sure is extremely good if I ever obtain a usable copy. Buyer beware it says it automatically chooses which version 32 bit or 64 bit for ones computer. Dont accept it as true. It downloads the 32bit version that will not run over a 64 bit machine like mine. You will need to download everthing over again from Adobe within the 64 bit version as being a trial then enter your 24 digit key code to validate you buy the car once its downloaded and attempting to install. These downloads suck. Adobe helps it be very difficult given that they a would like to prevent pirating with their software. They have added steps to have your valid copy to fit. Good luck.

I bought this to change an earlier version that have stopped working properly. I hate learning new software and there's a learning curve using this type of version. The download and installation went smoothly, and I had no problems. Although Im not fond of not having physical media, I am happy about both the item and Amazon service. The download version has also been far less expensive than any sale price I could find online, and I started using it instantly.
