Photoshop Elements 8, 9 and 10 all suffer from your same major flaw. You can barely read the small fonts and discover the printing and icons from the black on grey background. This is especially true should you have a greater resolution monitor which a number of us do now. I was so disappointed when I purchased this supplement because I expected much more from Adobe. They are suppose to become the gold standard of photo editing. I was shocked when I opened this system and could barely apply it. I have decent vision but I need to strain you just read the UI printing. There is no approach to adjust the font size or background color in almost any of these versions. Adobe forums are filled with complaints relating to this issue and I recommend NOT buying this supplement until it can be rectified.
Dont waste your cash until Adobe provides a strategy to adjust UI fonts and background color.

That was what I thought, used the trail version. I liked 9, although it did not fit everything in well and was not in any way easy to understand some instructions lots of internet trying to find better tutorials. Im not an expert, dont cause me to feel work so hard to understand it, right? The features I used, simple cropping, adding text and several corrections used clone lots, 9 was much simpler and easier to discover the tools! For the price, Ill wait and find out if the next improved version is surely an improvement.

Ive used Photoshop Elements since version 2 and I strongly believe it truly is the best photo-editing program AND digital painting program readily available for under 100. Update 7 October 2015. Getting my first update. Camera Raw has updated to version 9.2.
I am just getting informed about Elements 14, but there are a few useful changes in contrast to 13. Much continues to be same, but additions/revisions that jump out include:
1. In the Expert mode, the large changes are haze removal and shake reduction, both extracted from Photoshop CC. For both, you'll be able to make the adjustments automatically or with all the use of sliders. They are for the Enhance drop down menu.
Haze removal works it cutting through haze which you sometimes see on your own photos, especially landscapes, supplying you with more clarity, especially inside the shadows.
