I am a hobbyist and I have used Photoshop Elements for countless years. It does anything else that I need in support of rarely do I need to switch for the full Photoshop that I am quite a bit less familiar with anyway. PE is fun to utilize and I do amazing personalized photo projects by it. Each version adds more features and enhancements and it's not all that expensive. As much as I think up things to do along with it I get my moneys worth in in regards to a month! I recommend Photoshop Elements to everyone I know. They love my projects and I even obtained a copy than it for someone else. Lots of free tutorials and resources web lots of comprehensive instruction books too! Other products I may merely employ but this place I find that I think up reasons make use of it every single day. For novice photographers this software can be a must. I have a complimentary open source program installed that includes a lot from the functionality as TE but I still use TE instead. Adobe knows what these are doing. I think I became endlaved by TE inside the first hour I had it. I learn something new daily and my creativity goes with the roof! Thanks Adobe!

I like Elements a good deal. Due to some lost CD along with a new computer, I needed to upgrade my PSE. I didnt desire to upgrade all the way up up to PSE10, because many of my actions will not be compatible while using new version. Im so glad that Amazon continues to have this on the market and its a moment download! I also such as the fact that that is saved to my account and I can redownload this to a different computer, as required.
As far as Elements by itself, I really have fun here. It took me a number of months to truly get the hang of the usb ports, but I find it is really a powerful tool and is capable of doing anything that I would need the complete version of photoshop to perform. I think I would only makes use of the full version if I were a graphic designer. There are many top features of this program that I dont even use as being a photographer. I am always trying to know more!

I bought this device for their rebate promotion, I sent all documentation necessary to get that rebate, they responded telling me that this form I downloaded from had not been acceptable, it had being one from adobe website plus they only gave each week to resend the best documentation I spent days seeking that form into their website along with the only thing I found was a large number of users were within the same situation. Bottom line: they may be gonna allow it to be as hard as you possibly can for you to obtain that rebate, so when you are considering this product dependant on that rebate opportunity expect to have a very hard time hoping to get it from adobe.

I am just getting accustomed to Elements 14, but there are several useful changes in contrast to 13. Much continues to be the same, but additions/revisions that stick out include:
1. In the Expert mode, the large changes are haze removal and shake reduction, both obtained from Photoshop CC. For both, you may make the adjustments automatically or with the using sliders.
Haze removal is useful it cutting through haze which you sometimes see on the photos, especially landscapes, providing you with more clarity, especially inside shadows. It isn't a tool you happen to be likely to utilize often, but it can be handy to get for those times when haze spoils an otherwise great photo.
Shake reduction somehow senses the total amount and direction on the blur brought on by movement on the camera once the photo was taken and apparently rearranges the pixels and sharpens these to reduce the blur. Holding your camera still continues to be the best approach to prevent blur, but that is a helpful tool to obtain.
A third change inside Expert mode is often a refine edges brush that offers you with additional hold when refining edges on cutouts than does the refine edges command in Elements 13. It is also extracted from:Photoshop CC.

The previous reviews scared me a little but don't worry about it. I possess a pretty crappy computer and was competent to download the 64 bit easily. Also the activation code is located inside your downloads on Amazon right in the photo So the no activation code is really a myth. I much like the program.

EXCELLENT upgrade, just waiting to the manuals to be sold to help me utilize this system better. The haze feature is fantastic. Its inspired me to have back into digital scrapbooking. I love that Adobe lets us try products first. I tried Photoshop and Lightroom, but I dont hold the skill set to learn the programs. Photoshop elements can make it so much quicker to understand and then there are many videos on their website. Amazon offered a reduction and I grabbed it!

I bought this to be a pc download plus it says it's going to automatically choose whether 32 or 64 bit, yet this can be the error code I am getting. ERROR: This installer will not support installation over a 64-Bit Windows main system. Please download the 64-Bit version of Photoshop Elements.
ERROR: System check returned with error: 6 Cannot discover a place to contact and write the vendor. I would much rather have cd version if downloaded version doesnt work, or I need coming back, because at this stage I didnt get what I taken care of. I am scratching my head, and also disappointed. Please help!

I love Photoshop Elements 14. Upgrades from my previous purchase are appreciated. Price would be a nice discount, but had I waited 1 week could have bought in Costco for 39.95. But, still the price that I paid Amazon had been a bargain. Cant win all of them.

The program Im sure is extremely good if I ever obtain a usable copy. Buyer beware it says it automatically chooses which version 32 bit or 64 bit to your computer. Dont accept it. It downloads the 32bit version which won't run with a 64 bit machine like mine. You will must download everything over again from Adobe from the 64 bit version as a shot then enter your 24 digit key code to validate you buy once its downloaded and looking to install. These downloads suck. Adobe can make it very difficult simply because a wish to prevent pirating of these software. They have added steps to have your valid copy to set up. Good luck.

I bought this to switch an earlier version which had stopped working properly. I hate learning new software and there is often a learning curve using this type of version. The download and installation went smoothly, and I had no problems. Although Im not in love with not having physical media, I am happy about both the merchandise and Amazon service. The download version have also been far less expensive than any sale price I could find online, and I have it instantly.

This version of Elements is fine for some for amateurs mainly because it guides users through photo processing with presets. I dont want someone I do not know telling me how my photos need to look. Read more

Over the years I bought versions 3, 4, 5 and 9 of Elements. I reverted to version 5 soon after trying to utilize 9, then when version 10 was released I downloaded the trial version and I could determine no modifications to readability through the previous version. I am still using version 5 as it has a perfectly readable interface, as well as the editing features are basically the same as later versions.
The Adobe response towards the UI problems of their user forums is basically no response - We hear you, but we can't comment on if, when or what sort of UI is going to be modified later on versions. Photoshop Elements 8, 9 and 10 all suffer from your same major flaw. You can barely read the small fonts and discover the printing and icons resistant to the black on grey background. This is especially true if you could have a higher resolution monitor which most of us do now. I was so disappointed when I purchased this supplement because I expected much more from Adobe. They are suppose being the gold standard of photo editing. I was shocked when I opened this course and could barely utilize it. I have decent vision but I should strain you just read the UI printing. There is no strategy to adjust the font size or background color in a of these versions. Adobe forums are packed with complaints concerning this issue and I recommend NOT buying this system until it can be rectified.
Dont waste your hard earned money until Adobe provides a solution to adjust UI fonts and background color.

That was what I thought, used the trail version. I liked 9, though it failed to do everything well and has not been at all easy to comprehend some instructions a whole lot of internet trying to find better tutorials. Im not a professional, dont cause me to work so challenging to learn it, right? The features I used, simple cropping, adding text and a few corrections used clone lots, 9 was less difficult and better to see the instruments! For the price, Ill wait to see if the next improved version is definitely an improvement.
