Went back in version 10.3. Version 11.x miserably stuttered consistently substantially full screen mode, especially at high definition. Doubt it was fixed in any respect with version 12. As long as all websites still show flash media proud of version 10.3 installed Ill stick to this old version and damn the so-called security risks. Most likely the real security holes feature the 11.x and 12.x versions because of the new features added to these versions. Heck, v10.3 includes a 3mb installer in comparison with 17mbs for v11.9. Many on the security complications with 10.3 have been addressed anyway with all the one year plus worth extended support release status it received.

Seems in my experience Adobe is opening up more security holes together with the addition of all of the new great features since version 11.2. I mean, think about it, think about the size increase since version 11.2. Ive gone returning to Flash 11.2, and deleted ALL the unnecessary Flash files, including most all within the Documents and Settings folder and many types of the ones within the System32 folder. Everything else is write protectedafter Flash settings made, including custom settings made inside the file. Any new files created inside Doc Settings foldermainly Flash cookies are now being deleted with CCleaner.
BTW, Flash 11.5 was causing notable crash problems in Firefox personally, so dont determine if this new 11.6 version resolves it, since I wont be having a go. Dont know about Internet Explorer. Havent used IE in ages.

I have 2 machines, 1 using Windows 7 Ultimate and that is my Falcon Northwest loaded towards the gills gaming PC, your second is my 5 yr old Acer Ferarri laptop using Vista units are 64 bit. I have had ZERO Flash problems with either. Both units didn't play any flasy after downloading IE9 about to Adobes site and having the square version I was competent to able get Flash to be effective on some sites but not information on 50/50 IE9 RC hung up along plus the the browser was required to close itself for not dilemma is this: 64 bit is around for several years now and I fail to see why Adobe cannot create a Flash Player work inside 64 bit arena without countless I was required to use system restor to undo modifications and once done, everything worked fine have tried this more than once and don't get Flash in working order with IE9 RC and can't use the newest RC since Flash will not work to me

This can be a truly terrible release. On my completely new 64bit laptop video is jerky, sound volume jumps down and up and Ive were forced to revert back in version 10 to be in a position to use TVCatchup UK TV streaming service which doesnt work by any means with 10.1

Id heard that it improved performance. well it might do, using a high end system, but on my small two laptops and netbook it can be a DOG. Offloading decoding on the graphics card could possibly be fine over a desktop machine with bucket lots of GFX ram.,. however for everyone else all it lets you do it make flash video playback terrible.
Trying to view and flash video content will be terrible, frame minute rates are slow, its jerky and outside of sync. just terrible. Ive uninstalled and gone back in version 10. whilst that version isnt perfect, no less than it utilizes video playback.

I dont think Adobe knows what RC means. Its not Retry Constantly. They call Flash 10.1 for Android Beta and to the Mac they think of it as Preview. Considering how messy their versioning scheme is, would you imagine their coding?

I use flash lots, but to tell the truth, I have not seen any major changes from version 10 to v. 10.1, although I dont be ready to, becasue it is like firefox 3.5 users upgrading to a few.6, mainly minor performance increases, bug fixes and security patches compiled in a very new build.
Flash is likely to be facing competition from MS Silverlight soon, as Silverlight becomes to be a good adversary with the lightweight, highly expressive
But, overall, most users are only more familiar with using flash I think.

RC6 working excellent with nightly Firefox 3.7 adjusted 5/26/2010.
Flash intensive sites like /harrypotter runs smoother than before. Perhaps further optimizations are done, does seem smoother than earlier betas for the same PC.
and I was competent to run full screen 720P quite smoothly. Previous builds were slower using the same youtube HD video. This is on Pentium M 1.86ghz with 2gig ram Windows 7.
Wished people would rate the flash 10.1 betas on technical merit/testing as an alternative to politicize it. Some of us like to have the entire web experience.

Working fine even on firefox 3.7 alpha. I have never personally experienced this brief, even on flash heavy sites. Standard youtube video approximately 480P works fine on my own ancient pentium M laptop with 2 gig ram.
Not sure why a lot hate, in case you dont like flash then simply dont apply it.

Adobe Flash could be the very best product of this type. To those person complaining about security holes, Adobe is more preferable at fixing security holes in Flash than Microsoft is at Windows. The one and only issue with Flash may be the lack of your native 64-bit version.

I hate this crapware. Absolutely despise it. Its packed with security holes, and each time I should upgrade, I have to uninstall the 2 main different installations I have, for MSIE as well as Fx, and install them again. And the scumbags default to including either Google or McAfee crapware from the download, because hell, dont Flash and this other crap just NEED to get bundled together? And of course we've the fact the crap Flash browser plugin eats CPU cycles and bandwidth just like a starving gorilla.

I just sat through all in the feature tour videos, and I ought to say that FP10 looks and sounds fantastic. Im really looking forward towards the new inevitable Flash/Flex updates so I can get stuck in to the FP10 features. Due with a kind of error in version 10 I went back in version 9 and also have had no further problems. Flash was constantly crashing my browsers, these people due to this error ones seems I cannot find out what it turned out. Now, this version 10 I do not have idea about, but I am not implementing these any chances as now I tend not to trust adobe flash in any way. Writing their tech support is useless. Stay with version 9 because this version isn't any better and I cannot seem to learn what they did to upgarde it. You need 64 bit codecs plugins etc for 64bit versions of applications like IE 64bit in Vista64/XP64.
This release is usually a 32bit plugin. They have not announced any plans for just a 64 bit Flash or Shockwave yet that I have experienced.

It works, by Jehova it functions, it can do perform better, ALOT better, almost double the amount performance on older and in some cases my current machines, but I am noticing some stability issues and several bugs that Im sure are certain to get fixed soon, from the meantime, follow v9 until 10 is final.
I love flash, and know its not going away soon, especially inside video department.

I appreciate the results I get from installing MS Silverlight. I recommend the exact same thing.
The X64 guys keep down-rating different softwares given it lacks X64 support. That isn't fair on the hard working individuals and firms who bring us they.

Flash is excellent. Dude that sucks regarding the X64 version, thankfully I know enough to stop an early adopter. If you dont incorporate some technical grounds for using a 64-bit OS, I strongly encourage one to go back in a 32-bit one. Seier: I many thanks for comments and sage advice, but a flash player that will work with IE7 x64 will be the last frontier personally. I am running Vista x64 and have absolutely all drivers other software. Vista x64 benches nearly 20% above x86 about the same HW, as well as in my case is, is utterly trustworthy. It flat out flies too!
I guess in regards down going without running shoes, Im belly aching with regards to a virtual and literal conduit for advertisements along with the other hand YouTube is quite useless without.

alot of an individual are saying, including myself ie7 vista freezes and crashes alot. i discovered the fix to ie7 vista accomplishing this. always run as administrator. it can run great. used to this and yes it ran for 72 hours without closing with 50 tabs open.

Regardless from the version or build, Flash is often a nuisance, as bad or worse than clunky and slow Java applets on a lot of websites back inside 90s. If I come upon a Flash site that doesnt come with an HTML version, I simply will not visit the internet site. Flash just has to go away, but alas, the sheeple are entranced by great features. Flash is really a great program, HOWEVER, they don't give enough control for the user.
As an end user, I should be capable of enable, or disable certain features. I should be competent to keep Flash from flying across my screen and blocking what im doing. I should be competent to turn Flash off completely easily want.
Flash has grown to be and adware advocacy and contains begun to lose their users faith from the product. They have to begin adding features for that end users. When a method used 90% with the time to provide ads, why would a person want it??
Personally, I use AvantBrowser now because I can switch off flash if you need to. It stays off unless i go into a website containing flash buttons for navigation.
