Very disappointed, poor performance, limited capability
Able to make video tutorials for software.
No drawing tools, to produce even a simple rectangle.Basic shapes
Basically its quite like a PowerPoint, just with added video export and quizzes.
Its a software program meant for dummy who cant use more efficient application for better interactivity.
If its just by simple animation, video tutorial or presentation with add-on quiz capability, utilize it.
Otherwise theres plenty better other tools on the market.
The cash is just not worth after you can put up with simple PowerPoint presentation.

This will not be an accurate review. Captivate 7 has nearly all with the features available that had been listed within the cons. This user either does not develop the full version installed or perhaps limited on the knowledge of what it can do. I have been using Captivate for quite some time, and contains improved after some time. The functionality is way superior to PowerPoint.

Are you stating that functionality that you simply list under cons has become removed from 7 are capable of doing all that in 6 or possibly it that you simply didnt know how you can do those ideas? Captivate is miles and miles beyond PowerPoint and more robust than some other tool of their type. Not to mention that PowerPoint just isn't SCORM compliant and doesnt publish HTML5. I have used Captivate professionally since Captivate 3 plus your review just isn't helpful within the least. Please keep from making observations of a software program you clearly don't realize. NO programming, extremely powerful yet intuitive
There are some small things I would like to find out the user having the capacity to customize, but altogether great!
This software was a breeze to use and easy to use. Id never had any training on the best way to use it and I could open it up to make a training video. It was very self explanatory.
